To get your festive thoughts flowing, here is a list of venues that are excellent options and will keep your guests talking for months:
London – London Bridge Arches at Glaziers Hall
The Sir John Rennie’s London Bridge Arches are located within the lower ground floor of the Glazier Hall. They feature the 3 restored Georgian brick arches and the Grade II listed York stone floor and wine cellar.
It is a great and unusual space for an exclusive Christmas dinner or drinks reception as the space has capacity for 72 cabaret, 90 for a dinner and 120 for a standing drinks reception. The uplighters can also create a lovely evening setting that guests can relax, dine and party in.
Oxford – Oxford Spires Hotel
This modern and stylish hotel is part of the Principal Hotel Company, surrounded by parkland and alongside the Thames and is situated a 5-minute drive from the centre of Oxford making it a great accessible venue for a Christmas Party.
The venue has 11 modern event spaces which can hold up to 266 guests for a Christmas dinner, 181 en-suite bedrooms and a fully equipped spa and gym that the guests can relax in after their late night. The hotel also features a restaurant, lounge and bar with a lovely terrace area for those sunnier days.
Bristol- Glassboat Brasserie
A unique venue with a great history; having been left to rot, the boat was rescued and restored in the early 1980s and has now been open to the public for 30 years. Its new permanent location on Welsh back in Bristol’s historic harbour.
The boat can be hired exclusively for Christmas parties for up to 100 guests seated or 150 standing on their upper and lower decks. Alternatively, if you want a more intimate Christmas party, the private dining room can accommodate 40 guests seated and 50 standing. During the evening, guests will be able to enjoy the views of the Harbourside and City through restored windows and tuck into their delicious French cuisine.
Manchester – Revolution Manchester Deansgate Locks
Revolution Deansgate Locks is a unique and quirky venue that is built into the railway arches in the South of the City Centre. The bar has 5 bars, a dining area, lounge, dancefloor area and terrace. This venue can accommodate the much larger Christmas parties with exclusive venue hire for up to 1060 guests or for the slightly smaller events; the downstairs bar and terrace can accommodate 600 guests.
