Event Management Extravaganza

One of our loyal local clients asked us to help plan and deliver a fun, celebratory extravaganza for their staff as a reward for winning a large tender towards the end of 2017. The brief required a special venue in the Cheltenham area with interactive fun entertainment and good food served in an informal manner for 100 guests. Ellenborough Park provided the perfect setting – the De La Bere Court transforms into a fantastic party room, with its own entrance, private bar and inbuilt colour lighting that can be changed to suit the mood! Guests were greeted with Prosecco on arrival and were excited to find out what the evening had in store – we kept the entertainment a surprise!

Alex Crow (one of our all-time favourite mind reader entertainers) provided awe-inspiring mindreading tricks during the drinks reception. Food was a sumptuous two course buffet and was delicious. After dinner, Alex Crow wowed the audience with a 45-minute show which had lots of audience participation, there were audible gasps of ‘how does he know that?’ throughout, it was hugely enjoyable and impressive!

Afterwards, we changed the lighting colours for more of a party atmosphere and ‘Sink The Beat’ provided great cover songs in the form of bandeoke – people enjoyed choosing their songs and singing live with the band individually and in small groups. Although a little hesitant at first, everyone soon got into the party spirit and sang the night away!

We planned, organised and managed the event from start to finish, also managing the event on the night at Ellenborough Park. Magdalen was assisted on the night by Polly and also Keira, our work placement student. The event was a huge success and very much enjoyed by everyone. We are now ready to rock and roll for the project management of your next event!
