We’ve got the green light as the limit of 30 people attending business events has been scrapped and new increased limits are in now in place after Boris Johnson revealed the details of the updated tier system set to apply to England when national lockdown ended on the 2nd December. The winter plan sets the limits for events depending on whether the event is indoors or outdoors.

• In Tier 1 areas, venues will be limited to either 50 per cent capacity or 4,000 people outdoors and 1,000 indoors, whichever is lower.
• In Tier 2 areas, venues will be limited to either 50 per cent capacity or 2,000 people outdoors and 1,000 indoors, whichever is lower. All events will be subject to social distancing.
• Events will not be allowed to take place in Tier 3 areas.

We are confident that our venue partners have gone above and beyond, to ensure the safety of your delegates is paramount. Safe meetings and events will take precedence and we are here to help you with the challenges and responsibilities you face as event planners.
