Team FCCE grows by two superheroes!
Katie and I are the newest members to join the FCCE team – we are three weeks in and most certainly loving it! We took some time out of our busy day to quiz each other on our time so far at First Choice Conference & Events and got some pretty exciting answers!
The first question in our quiz was what we enjoy the most about working for First Choice Conference & Events. Without hesitation, we both instantly said the friendly and welcoming team. Katie also loves the range of events we work on and the clients we work with, and I love that no 2 days are ever the same!
The second question was what three items we thought were most essential to our jobs. For me, it was most definitely my to-do list, post-it notes for all those last-minute reminders and my phone headset for business calls! Katie’s three most essential items were her notebook, computer and also her headset; as we practically live on the phone!
Question three was regarding our best experience so far whilst being part of the FCCE team. Although I have only been with the company for three weeks, I’ve already had the opportunity to visit the beautiful property Tortworth Court for a team away-day which included a Game of Thrones themed team-building activity (turns out I’m a pretty good axe thrower!) Katie’s best moment so far was confirming her first booking – there will be plenty more of those!
Question four was our personal top tips for doing our jobs. For me, it’s staying calm and making sure I prioritise all my jobs effectively. For Katie, its being a master of juggling without dropping any balls! Here at FCCE, we are always busy making our clients events perfect, meaning multi-tasking is essential!
The final question in our mini interview was what we’re both looking forward to the most in our job roles. Katie is excited for the variety of events that she will eventually work on and being able to travel all over the U.K to visit a wide range of exciting venues. The answer I gave was almost identical – visiting new venues and working on a dynamic range of events. After all, who wouldn’t want to travel to interesting venues and expand their product knowledge on the way?
Overall, we are both loving our time with First Choice Conference & Events and can’t wait to see what exciting adventures lie ahead!
