Winning awards in a pandemic year!
It felt like such a treat to be able to able to attend an actual live awards ceremony on Friday 8th October. Penny & Cheryl finally got the opportunity to don their glad rags and make their way to Evolution in London, Battersea Park for an evening of glamour. Finding out that First Choice Conference & Events had been shortlisted as Best Intermediary Agency (fewer than 40 employees) during a pandemic year was absolutely fantastic especially as the award is voted for by our wonderful clients, and then finding out we had won the Silver Award was something else! Speaking about the win Managing Director, Penny Banyard said:
“What a delight it was to be back at the amazing M&IT Awards Dinner 2021. It was such a surprise to be listed as a finalist yet again and we really didn’t expect to win an award this year. It’s been a tough 18 months for clients and suppliers alike and to have received the Silver Award is a commendation & testament to our loyal clients who have continued to support us through the pandemic. Staying in close contact with our clients throughout was our key focus. Being remotely accessible every day ensuring we were available by phone, email & zoom to keep the communication going for events booked both in the short & long-term future. Today our team of 6 are feeling very proud of this achievement and we will display our trophy like a badge of honor.

With more than 550 event professionals in attendance it really was great to reunite with our industry friends once again and catch up after so many months apart, we are looking forward to building a stronger future together.
